Volunteer     


We need many volunteers to help the sale run smoothly!  We would LOVE for you to help!  

You do not have to be a consignor to volunteer.  The sale really needs you!  We have many shifts available and if you do not see one that fits your needs, please email and we will make sure to find you one that will work for you!  Volunteering has many benefits and can be a lot of fun!  Thank you for considering :) 

  Many different types of jobs are available:

    · Assisting during drop-off times and pick-up times
    · Organizing merchandise
    · Assisting with check out 
    · Saturday night break down 
    · Strong husbands, brothers, sons, or significant others
      for set-up or break down of equipment 
    · Delivering flyers

Mega Volunteers: You get to shop FIRST on Tuesday
(Work 12 hrs. or more and can be split into 2- or 4-hour shifts); shop first on half price day; have consignor fee waived, earn 75%.  There are a limited number of spots. *

Super Volunteers: You get to shop SECOND on Tuesday
(Work 8hrs.) and shop second on half price day.  Pay only half of consignor fee and earn 73%.  There are a limited number of spots. *

Volunteers: You get to shop THIRD on Tuesday
(Work 4 hours); and shop third on half price day.  

Ultra-Volunteers: - *Breakdown* This is the shift AFTER the sale ends on Saturday.  We need many individuals to help break down and sort items as quickly as possible.  This shift is 2pm - 8pm with possibility of the shift being shorter IF breakdown gets done faster. You also have the opportunity to pick up your unsold items after they are sorted that night, instead of the following day. Ultra Volunteers get all the benefits of Mega Volunteers PLUS they earn 80%.*  
 
Volunteers need to wear comfy shoes and clothes. Please sign in and sign out at the front desk at the time you signed up for. 

Please be respectful to other volunteers and shoppers.

Volunteer Agreement

 
Kids Kloset requires that all the volunteers fulfill their obligation to work their assigned shift (or shifts) or complete their duty prior to sale.  We cannot get anyone to replace your slot at the last minute. 

You have only until March 29th to cancel your shift.

If a volunteer does not fulfill the obligation by being on time and finishing the entire shift, the volunteer will not be granted any shopping privileges. Also, they will have an additional $10 deducted from their consignment payout per shift that is missed.  Any volunteer that fails to work their shift and does not contact us, will be prohibited from volunteering in future sales. 

Please try to arrive 10 min early for your shift, so we can explain the job you will be doing during your shift.  

Please do not ask to hold, hide, or purchase items before the sale begins.

Please do not make the time you volunteer, a social time.  This can be distracting for everyone else and give others a chance to get sticky fingers.

Please park away from the doors so you can give shoppers a chance at closer parking spots.

Do not bring purses or other bags in while working. We can keep keys for you.

Please do not bring your children or anyone else's, during your volunteer shift.
