I would love to consign but I just don't think I have time to tag my items, can you help?
A:
Good news, we can help! We offer a consignment tagging service on a first come, first serve basis. You will earn 50% profit minus a $10 consignor fee. Spots are limited and will fill up quickly. Contact, [email protected] for more info.
Q:
Do I have to volunteer if I consign?
A:
No volunteering is not required; however, it is always encouraged :) There are many benefits to volunteering at the sale. Volunteers get to shop first and can earn a higher percentage back in their check! There are even contests, and prizes for volunteers, and having volunteers makes it possible for each sale to run smoothly.

Do you have to be a consignor to volunteer?
A:
Absolutely not! We welcome anyone who wants to volunteer. Volunteers make the sale successful!

What if none of the volunteer shifts work for me?
A:
Please email [email protected] and we can always work out a shift or volunteer position that meets your needs!

How much will I make?
A:
70% of the price of your items sold, minus a $10 consignor fee to offset the cost of the building rental.
Q:
When will I get my money?
A:
Your check will be ready at consignor pick up or if you do not pick it up, it will be mailed to you within 1 week of the sale being over.
Q:
Do I need to write down everything I bring to the sale?
A:
We do not need that information, but you may want that information for yourself. You may view/print off a Consignor Inventory Report that includes all the information about each item. To do this, sign in with your consignor number and password. At the Consignor Item Entry Page choose "View/Print an Inventory Report."

How will I know what items sold and for what price?
A:
At the end of each sale day, you may view a "Sold Items Report." To do this, sign in with your consignor number and password. At the Consignor Item Entry Page, choose "View Your Sold Items."
Q:
Are certain hangers required for the sale?
A:
No, although plastic ones are preferred, you can use any style hanger as long as the hanger fits the size clothing you are hanging. We don't want any clothes falling off the hangers, because then the item may become lost and unlikely to sell.

Will I get my hangers back?
A:
At Pick Up hangers will be available on a first come, first serve basis. This is not always guaranteed.
Q:
Where can I find hangers to use for the sale?
A:
YardSale sites, neighborhood pages, and friends are a great way to find some unused hangers for the sale. Also contact local businesses to ask if they have some you can take off their hands. Some Laundromats will also be willing to give some to you. If you absolutely cannot find any, please don't let that discourage you from selling. Please contact us at [email protected], and we can help you!
Q:
What if I discover an item is missing after viewing my Sold Items Report and have picked up all unsold items?
A:
Please make sure to check the "Lost Tag" items pile before you leave our premises on Pick Up Day. We will do our best to locate any misplaced items, however Kids Kloset is not responsible for lost or stolen items.
Q:
If I have items from the last sale that didn't sell, can I use the same tag for this sale?
A:
Yes, you can! As long as you are keeping the price the same and are not changing anything on the tag in the system. If you plan on changing the price, you will have to print a new tag for this sale. The easiest way to do this is on your homepage under inactive inventory, select the items you want to add for the current sale. Once they are added to your active inventory, you can edit them if you would like, and print a new tag.

Are there any incentives for referrals?
A:
Yes! For every new consignor that registers and uses your name as a referral, you will earn $5 Kids Kloset Cash to use at the upcoming sale. The new consignor MUST add this information at the time of registration, for you to receive credit.

Is there a minimum amount to consign?
A:
No. We do not have a minimum requirement but keep in mind we do charge a $10 consignor fee that comes out of the consignor's check at end of sale. So, we do recommend at least $30 worth of items.

What is item Restock?
A:
During the sale we may allow consignors on a designated day and time, to come and drop off more items they wish to sell at the sale. These items MUST have already been entered in the system BEFORE the item entry deadline. Usually, consignors will use this time to drop off the items they just didn't have time to "tag" before the allotted drop off times.
Q:
Help! I tried to sign up for a drop off appointment but there are none left, what do I do?!
A:
Do not panic! Kids Kloset constantly adds more appointments to ensure all of those who want to consign can :) If you don't see a time that works for you, be patient, as the sale gets closer, we do add more! We do NOT add more days, just more slots to the current times and days.
