Checklist Before Consigning

  

• The condition of your clothes is important.  Make sure your clothes are no older than 5 years old for ALL clothing.
• Please launder your clothes before bringing them to sale. Stained, smoke-filled, or smelly clothes will not be accepted. 
• All shoes must be laundered if possible and free of dirt on sides and soles.  Shoes that are to worn looking will NOT be accepted.
• Be sure all toys, baby equipment, decorations, etc. have been cleaned and washed thoroughly.  They must be in working order and have all parts to make the toy/equipment work properly.              
• If you are not sure if an item is accepted, please just ask :)
• If you yourself wouldn't buy the item because of the condition, please use your best judgement and don't try to consign it at the sale.  We will NOT accept items at check in if they do not meet Kids Kloset's standards for resell!        

          

      

Items Not Accepted:

-VHS tapes or Cassette Tapes

​-Used crib or regular mattresses

-Used coloring books, notebooks, etc.  used markers, crayons, pencils, paint, etc.

-used make-up

-Screen printed location shirts;   
 Example: Myrtle Beach, local area athletic                        shirts (your child's summer baseball
         team),YMCA, etc.
 
-Stuffed Animals that are not current character     animals;   No Beanie Babies
              No Webkinz   

-Any items that have been recalled  

-Expired car seats

-Curling/flat irons / Hair products (unless new in package)

-Major Appliances

-Antiques

Acceptable Items

For the Spring sale we accept spring/summer clothing and for the Fall sale we accept fall/winter clothing only.   Here are some helpful suggestions:

Baby/ Children

-Gently used clothing (Infants - Jrs)
  -Jackets, rain jackets, coats
-Shoes 
    *boots accepted during fall sale    
​     and sandals during spring sale.
* please limit your jeans for the spring sale
*Long sleeve baby onesies and light weight sleepers are OK for the spring sale.
* local school uniform clothing
​*sun hats, baseball hats, etc.

Childrens Equipment

-bottles
-lamps (must have working bulb)
-playground equipment
-bedding-with size listed
-rugs-with size listed
-high chairs
-room décor-curtains with size listed
-dinnerware
-bottle warmers
-slings
-beds
-strollers
-swings
-playpens
-furniture
-toys-if item takes batteries, they must be in the toy and working
-books  (20 item limit)
-DVD's/CD's (must be in original case)
-TV's-Flat screen type only
-electronics (must be in working order with all items needed to run.  ex: battery, adapter, etc.)

Maternity
-Tops, shorts, pants, skirts, dresses

-limited to 25 items, new with tag items do not count toward the 25 items

Young Men's
This category is for all those teen boy clothes.  This clothing starts after boys size 18 in children's.  Some store examples are American Eagle, Abercrombie, Hollister. etc.  Limited to 20 items.

Junior Girl's
This category is for all those teen girl clothes.  This is your clothing that starts after children's size 18.  Some JR clothing store examples are American Eagle, Aeropostale, Hollister, etc.  Limited to 20 items.


Men's Clothing & Shoes
limited to 20 items

Women's Clothing & Shoes
limited to 25 items.


Housewares / Home Decor
All items must be 5 years old or younger and sizes clearly labeled. No major appliances will be accepted.  NO knick knacks or antiques are allowed.  Everything must be in good working order.  

Crafting Items
We will be accepting sewing, scrapbooking, stamping and related crafting items.  NO collectibles.  NO handmade items.  Don't forget extra Birthday party supplies too.
